Irfan Rehman, an old graduate of College of Art and Design, University of Punjab, professionally stepped into the field of painting in 2008.
By the time the artist reached secondary school, he had developed diverse forms of arts specially drawing, painting and sculpture. He did his masters in Graphic Designing from the University of Punjab in 1994.
In the last few years Rehman has developed a new interest in drawing and paintings, introducing the 3-D subject in paintings by specifically emphasizing his drawing and painting on the Z-axis. An observer can clearly see the distance of objects due to this particular technique.
A number of visitors appreciated the 3-D effect in artist’s style of work.
Commenting on his experimental technique, Rehman said: “Since I have discovered this new technique of painting I feel a sense of achievement with the completion of everything. It’s exciting to create the 3-D effect in the painting as a whole”.
The lush green gardens, flowers and the overall atmosphere of the nature portrayed by the artist in his painting leave one with a dreamy look.
